Ford’s Theatre works closely with local and nation-wide students and teacher to help them develop oratory skills. Through learning Lincoln’s words, students develop a stronger appreciation for those powerful speeches that shaped our country. Throughout the year they work closely with Ford’s education staff to develop their public speaking skills and their ability to analyze historic speeches, and to strengthen their skills to write original speeches. Many of our oratory programs culminate with a performance of historic and original speech on our historic stage.

Please join us for any or all of these incredible performances, so you can hear for yourself the powerful voices of the next generation of leaders!
