The Ford’s Theatre National Historic Site (Museum, Theatre, Petersen House and Aftermath Exhibits) will be closed on Friday, January 20, 2017.

“It was very well done ... Very special to be in the actual place and see the balcony booth where the Lincoln party sat. The play gave some insights about the day of the event I did not know.”

"Even more than the museum, we enjoyed a one act play, 'One Destiny,' where actors who portrayed the co-owner of the theater and an actor of the theater at the time, discuss whether they could have changed the course of history. It was an interesting view of events surrounding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln through the eyes of the men who were there."
