In this multi-media one-man show, an American officer named Matt Konop liberates the Czech villages of his grandparents during World War II. It’s a true story, written and performed by Konop’s grandson, Patrick Dewane. Dewane brings archival material found in his grandfather’s basement to life in this “enthralling, humorous and heartwarming tale of miraculous escapes and astonishing coincidences” ("Minneapolis Star Tribune"). Presented in partnership with the American Friends of the Czech Republic. Tickets are free.
