Lincoln Online Oratory Project
Bring the power of oratory into your classroom — no matter where you are!
Step into history and unlock the voices of tomorrow with Ford’s Theatre’s Lincoln Online Oratory Program. Designed for students in grades 3–12, this dynamic national program pairs your classroom with a professional Ford’s Theatre teaching artist who will collaborate with you and your students on a journey from the page to the podium.
Students will dive into the words of President Abraham Lincoln and other great historic voices, discovering not only the history behind the speeches, but also the timeless art of performance, persuasion, and presence. Along the way, they’ll develop confidence, sharpen their public speaking skills, and learn how to harness their own voices for impact.
This program brings Ford’s Theatre directly into your classroom — sparking civic imagination, inspiring young leaders, and enhancing student voices through oratory arts.
Experience history. Empower voices. Inspire the future.
