A visit to the Ford's Theatre campus traces the story of Abraham Lincoln’s presidency, assassination and legacy. Whether for a brief visit or for the full experience, Ford’s will deepen your appreciation and understanding of America’s 16th president.

The schedule for daytime programming varies from day to day. Please click the links below to check the schedule for the day you wish to visit. Tickets are currently available through August 31, 2013. All visits are self-guided.

Hours
Ford's Theatre is a working professional theatre, and there will be occasions when visitors will not be able to enter the theatre or museum due to rehearsals, set load-ins and matinee performances. On a typical day, the hours are:
8:30 a.m.: Box Office Opens (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
9:00 a.m.: Site opens
4:00 p.m.: Final entry into the museum
4:30 p.m.: Final entry into the theatre
5:00 p.m.: Final entry into the Petersen House and Center

Tickets
Advance individual tickets are $2.50. Tickets for groups of 15 or more are $2.00. A limited number of free tickets are available at the Ford’s Theatre Box Office beginning at 8:30 a.m. for same-day tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals are limited to six tickets per person for same-day tickets.

D.C.-Area Schools
Ford's Theatre and Target have teamed up to provide Target Field Trips to Ford's Theatre, a program that provides free bus transportation to District of Columbia Public Schools and Title I schools in the D.C. metro area.
