William Diggle (Thomas Jefferson) Interview

This week, I was presented with an incredible opportunity. I got to attend a Ford’s Theatre rehearsal and watch some of the actors from 1776 run a very funny scene. In the scene, John Adams reunites Thomas Jefferson with his wife, Martha, in an effort to get him inspired to compose the Declaration of Independence. Hilarity ensues when things end up backfiring for Adams, and with the arrival of his wife, Jefferson becomes more distracted then ever.

Check out this clip from the first rehearsal of 1776! I had a really good time filming this.

Peter Flynn Interview

Hello my Abe enthusiasts! I am so excited to start blogging again for Ford’s Theatre! Last fall, I blogged throughout the first installment of Fords Theatre’s Lincoln Legacy Project, which focused on themes of tolerance and equality. This spring, I will shift my focus to blog about the production of 1776.
